    I have owned an Aquaglide Chelan tandem kayak for the past 4 years and really like it. My wife wanted a smaller kayak to use on her own so I bought her the Aquaglide Chinook 90. What a difference from the Chelan!. It does not track well. With each paddle, you zigzag through the water. The fin doesn't seem to work at all. The seat also sits much lower than the chelan making it more difficult to paddle. My wife has some mobility issues so she liked that she was able to kneel on the chelan tube and rotate into the seat when entering the kayak That is not possible on the chinook due to the low pressure in the tubes and because it is much easier to tip over. I also prefer the air valves on the Chelan. We are having to refill the air on the Chinook each day as the one tube is soft each morning. I wish that I had ordered the smallest chelan even though it is longer & more expensive than the chinook. My wife has only used it for 2 short outings and now the Chinook will probably sit unused most of the time. I should have done more research before buying.
