Advanced Frame Convertible Description

The AdvancedFrame® Convertible Kayak is a fifteen foot kayak that can be paddled solo or tandem. With an open deck design, you can easily enter and exit the boat or utilize the optional single or double decks to convert your AdvancedFrame® Convertible from an open deck to a closed deck kayak in a matter of seconds. The design of this kayak combines our rigid bow and stern rib-frame design with the versatility of tandem or solo seating positions and interchangeable decks.

This is my first kayak. I wanted an inflatable that would fit in my trunk. Its a great design and the setup is very quick. It works well in 2-3 foot waves and high winds. The only negative comment is for the rear position, there is a velcro loop that I kept hitting with my right elbow. I tape it down and its fine. Other than that, my wife and I love it!. Also, I contacted the seller asking for an extra / backup spring valve cap and received one from Advanced Elements free of charge. Great customer service. Btw, the kayak was an online order and it was shipped super fast across the country.

Fast and easy to set up and pack away in under 10 minutes. Stable, comforable, easy to paddle. Throw it in the trunk of your car an go! Western Canoe and Kayaking staff were amazing in helping us pick the perfect kayak for us! Thanks, guys!

EXCELLENT KAYAK IN MOST WAYS..TRACKING ..SPACE..STABILITY..BUT LITTLE HEAVY FOR OLDER FOLKS TO CARRY AND SETUP .FOLKS

Both my husband and I really enjoy being on the lake with the Advanced Frame Convertible. It is easy to set up as long as you use the proper pump, has a lot of room for storage, the seats are very comfortable. We also purchased a drop stitch floor for this kayak. West Canoeing and Kayaking is a great website to order from on line and the staff are very friendly.
